Job summary

Collin College seeks an adjunct/CE HVAC instructor to prepare and deliver coursework in alignment with college policies and core values. Responsibilities include teaching per the schedule across campuses or off-site locations, with possible evening/weekend classes and Dual Credit opportunities.

Applicants should hold an Associate degree in HVAC(R) or a qualifying field and EPA 608 Universal certification. The role is on-site and subject to background checks as required by law.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in HVAC(R) or qualifying field with minimum 3 years of non‑teaching, work‑related experience.
• EPA Section 608 Technician Certification (Universal) required.
• This position is Security Sensitive and may require criminal background checks and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses per schedule and follow approved descriptions and syllabi.
• Assignments may be on multiple campuses or off-site locations, including evening/weekend programs; Dual Credit possible.
• Perform other duties as assigned in line with college policies and core values.
• On-site work is required; remote arrangements are not permitted except under law.
