Job summary

Elite Career Institute of Texas is seeking an HVACR Instructor to teach and mentor students in heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems. You will provide classroom instruction, hands-on lab training, and curriculum support to help prepare students for successful careers in the HVACR industry.

The role requires EPA 608 certification, 2–5 years of industry experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 HVAC certification required; NATE certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 to 5 years of HVACR industry experience.
• Light woodworking construction experience beneficial but not required.
• Previous teaching or training experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and mentor adult learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction to a diverse student population.
• Teach HVACR theory in the classroom and diagnostics, maintenance, installation and repair using a hands-on approach in the lab.
• Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with program standards.
• Monitor student progress and provide support and guidance.
• Ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.
• Stay current with industry trends, certifications, and teaching practices.
