Job summary

Patterson Heating & Air Conditioning in Charlotte, NC, seeks a dependable Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and parts flow for residential and commercial projects.

You will work with service, installation, and leadership to ensure crews have the right equipment when needed, maintain safety standards, and streamline receiving and staging for efficient job readiness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse, inventory, or related operations experience preferred.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or building-material experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with ERP/inventory systems and accurate recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Own daily operation, cleanliness, organization, security, and safety of the warehouse.
• Receive HVAC equipment, parts, materials, and verify against purchase orders.
• Ensure materials are entered, labeled, stored, and assigned to correct location.
• Stage equipment for residential and commercial jobs to prep crews.
• Maintain inventory records and investigate variances, missing items, or damaged materials.
• Lead cycle counts and improve inventory accuracy without slowing field teams.
• Coordinate routine purchasing and backorders within approved guidelines.
