Job summary

Philip Morris USA in Richmond, VA is seeking an AC Utility Operator to ensure safe, continuous operation of building utility systems in a state-of-the-art manufacturing center.

You will monitor HVAC, process vacuum, steam, compressed air, and water systems, maintain logs using CMMS, respond to alarms, and coordinate with maintenance teams. Overtime and weekend work may be required to support production needs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and eligible to work in the U.S. and for Philip Morris USA.
• Willingness to work any shift, overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Current Universal CFC Certification (EPA Section 608) required.
• Strong safety orientation and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication; high initiative.
• Minimum 2+ years of HVAC/utility/building management experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain building utility systems and control room environment.
• Operate HVAC, vacuum, steam, compressed air, and chilled water systems.
• Maintain logs and use CMMS for work orders and PM data.
• Respond to abnormal conditions and coordinate with maintenance teams.
• Schedule shifts and cover overtime to meet production needs.
