Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking motivated apprentices to join our growing team in Colorado. You will train on HVAC mechanical equipment and controls at client sites and participate in the Service Technical Academy to build skills and earn advancement opportunities.

Through coaching and mentorship, you will diagnose and resolve technical issues while delivering excellent customer service. A valid driver's license is required, and union training attendance applies in year one.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of HVAC industry experience or servicing mechanical systems.
• Generally required knowledge includes mechanical HVAC systems and facilities management.
• Effective interpersonal skills to represent Johnson Controls professionally.
• Leadership to support mechanics on non-complex HVAC work.
• Self-starter capable of working independently.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Apprentices will be trained and will perform on HVAC equipment and controls at client sites.
• Participate in Service Technical Academy training for skill development and advancement.
• Develop troubleshooting skills to resolve technical and customer needs.
• Provide progress updates to JCI, contractors and customers as needed.
• Meet attendance requirements for required Union training in year one.
• Provide recommendations and quotes to ensure facility efficiency.
