Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking an HVAC Test Technician III for our Plymouth, MN lab expansion. This role operates in a climate-controlled facility with a 2:00 PM–12:30 AM second shift, 4 days per week, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

You will perform ISO 17025-compliant testing, maintain equipment, and ensure safety and quality standards. Ideal candidates hold an HVAC&R degree or related experience, with preferred certifications and lab/test lab experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in HVAC&R or related experience.
• Experience in mechanical test lab or field service preferred.
• Fork truck, man lift, universal card, or R410a card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing according to standard procedures and ISO 17025.
• Set up and operate complex laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Identify and report nonconformities and abnormal testing conditions.
• Maintain EH&S policies and safe work area.
• Provide direction and training to other technicians (senior roles only).
