Job summary

Daikin Applied in Plymouth, MN is seeking an HVAC Test Technician III to support a lab expansion. You will perform laboratory testing, verify instruments, and operate complex equipment on the 2nd shift—2:00 PM to 12:30 AM, Monday through Thursday—with a 10% shift differential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in HVAC&R or related experience.
• Experience in mechanical test lab or field service preferred.
• Fork truck training/license, Man lift training/license, Universal card, or R410a card preferred.
• Mentorship experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing activities in accordance with standard procedures and ISO 17025.
• Perform instrument verification checks and periodic facility maintenance.
• Set up and operate complex laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Identify and report nonconformities and abnormal testing conditions.
• Maintain clean work area and adhere to EH&S safety policies.
• Provide direction and training to other technicians (senior roles).
