Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking an HVAC Test Technician III for our Plymouth, MN lab expansion. The role offers a 4-day work week with a 2nd shift that includes a 10% differential and a $5,000 sign-on bonus. On-site training and tools are provided, with ISO 17025 testing in a climate-controlled facility.

Responsibilities include operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, recording results, and ensuring safety standards. Some training certifications may be required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in HVAC&R or related experience.
• Experience in mechanical test lab or field service preferred.
• Fork truck / Man lift training or R410a card preferred.
• Mentorship experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing per standard procedures and ISO 17025.
• Set up and operate complex lab equipment and instruments.
• Identify and report nonconformities and abnormal testing conditions.
• Maintain clean work area and safety policies.
• Create testing records and document procedures.
• Improve laboratory activities and implement corrective actions.
• Train and assist other technicians (senior roles).
