Job summary

Daikin Applied in Plymouth, MN is seeking an HVAC Test Technician I–IV for the 2nd shift to support a lab expansion. You will perform comprehensive laboratory testing, verify instruments, set up complex equipment, and ensure safe, compliant operations.

The role requires an Associate degree in HVAC&R or related field, prior lab or field service exposure, and relevant licenses/certifications where available. A sign-on bonus is offered and growth opportunities are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in HVAC&R or related field required.
• Experience in a mechanical test lab or field service preferred.
• Fork truck/ scissor lift licenses or refrigerant handling certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing per procedures, requirements and ISO 17025.
• Set up and operate laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Identify nonconformities and report abnormal testing conditions.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and comply with EH&S policies.
• Train and mentor other technicians (senior roles only).
• Create records of testing and improve laboratory processes.
