Comfort Engineered Systems in Louisiana is seeking an HVAC Technician Trainee. No prior HVAC experience is required; you will work with experienced professionals and receive paid hands-on training to develop core HVAC skills.

You will assist with daily tasks, learn service and maintenance of residential systems, and grow toward independent work with safety and quality at the forefront.

Comfort Engineered Systems is looking for an HVAC Technician Trainee who is dependable, motivated, and eager to learn. You don't need years of field experience to get started. If you're mechanically inclined, comfortable working with your hands, and willing to learn from experienced professionals, we'll help you build the skills needed for a career in HVAC.

What You'll Learn

You will work alongside experienced HVAC professionals and gain hands-on exposure to residential heating and cooling systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assist experienced technicians and installers with daily HVAC work
• Learn how to service, maintain, and troubleshoot residential equipment
• Help with installations, repairs, and equipment maintenance
• Use hand tools and equipment safely and correctly
• Keep vehicles, tools, equipment, and jobsites clean and organized
• Interact professionally with homeowners and team members
• Follow safety procedures and company standards
• Develop the technical skills needed to advance in the HVAC trade

What We're Looking For

You don't need extensive HVAC experience. We're more interested in your work ethic, attitude, and willingness to learn.

• Dependable and punctual

• Strong basic math skills

• Able to work indoors, outdoors, and in confined spaces
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• HVAC, mechanical, construction, or maintenance experience is a plus, but not required
