Job summary

ISS Guckenheimer in Wisconsin is seeking an HVAC Technician to operate, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, chillers, AHU, VAV, FCU, boilers and refrigeration equipment, ensuring reliable, safe operation.

The role requires EPA Universal Certification, 2+ years journeyman experience, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to read P&IDs and wiring diagrams. On-site work with standard safety practices; valid driver’s license often required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or higher.
• Universal EPA Certification required.
• 2+ years of HVAC journeyman level operation.
• Hands-on maintenance and repair experience in HVAC/refrigeration.
• Able to read piping & instrument drawings (P&IDs), floor plans, site maps and electrical diagrams.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License (if driving is required).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, modify and install HVAC equipment and components.
• Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration units, boilers and related systems.
• Repair or replace defective parts and controls.
• Operate and test diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Maintain equipment and inventory; keep logs and reports.
• Communicate effectively with team and participate in project groups as required.
