Job summary

Allied Mechanical is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC systems. This full-time role covers rooftop units, boilers, chillers, and heat pumps across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of HVAC experience, EPA 608 certification, and the ability to read schematics and blueprints. Valid driver’s license and strong customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC certification or technical training a plus.
• 3+ years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician or similar role.
• Solid grasp of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and mechanical components.
• EPA 608 certification; ability to read technical documents and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair rooftop units, split systems, boilers, chillers, and heat pumps.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to keep systems running at peak performance.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults across HVAC equipment.
• Repair or replace components including motors, compressors, fans, and thermostats.
• Read and apply wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Keep clients and teammates informed on service findings and next steps.
• Log service work accurately, including parts used and system condition.
• Follow all safety, code, and company compliance requirements.
