Job summary

Christina School District seeks an HVAC Technician at Eden Support Center to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on boilers, chillers, AHUs, ductwork, and associated systems. The role includes occasional plumbing/electrical work and supervising maintenance tasks.

The position requires a journeyman certificate (or enrollment in an apprenticeship) and a history of applicable craft experience; a strong physical ability is essential.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship preparation or demonstrated skilled work with a reputable firm.
• Must hold a journeyman certificate or be enrolled in an apprenticeship to obtain certification.
• Demonstrated ability to perform tasks in the craft.
• Three years’ experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance of HVAC systems.
• Handle plumbing, electrical, and related duties as assigned.
• Lead complex maintenance projects and supervise subordinate personnel.
• Instruct others in the demonstrated craft skill and document work orders.
