Job summary

Seneca Resources is seeking an HVAC Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC systems across facilities in a fast-paced environment. You will perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on equipment such as ACUs, AHUs, heat pumps, VAVs, DDC controls, and ventilation systems.

You will analyze system data, conduct tests, and ensure optimal operation of chillers, boilers, and kitchen equipment, while documenting findings and adhering to safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with a relevant 2-year technical certificate or state-licensed HVAC certification.
• EPA Universal Refrigeration License and a valid driver’s license are required.
• Experience with commercial/industrial HVAC systems, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

Position Description

Join a dynamic team as an HVAC Technician responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial and industrial HVAC systems in a fast-paced environment. This role involves performing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on various HVAC equipment such as ACUs, AHUs, heat pumps, VAVs, DDC controls, and ventilation systems. You will analyze system data, conduct tests, and ensure optimal operation of chillers, boilers, and kitchen equipment. Responsibilities include evaluating HVAC systems, providing recommendations, maintaining detailed records, and adhering to safety standards. You will work closely with team members to support efficient building operations and contribute to a safe, clean work environment. The position requires effective communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and a commitment to safety and excellence.

Top Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; certified HVAC technician with a relevant 2-year technical certificate or state-licensed HVAC certification
• Minimum of HVAC experience working on commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including system maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
• EPA Universal Refrigeration License and a valid driver’s license
• Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and control sequences
• Experience with BMS, refrigerant recovery, vacuum pumps, and HVAC controls
• Strong safety awareness and commitment to OSHA standards, including proper use of PPE and hazardous material handling
