Job summary

Seneca Resources LLC is seeking a Back HVAC Technician in Woodbridge, NJ to support commercial properties with preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance. The role covers carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC tasks, with travel to customer sites and a company vehicle provided.

An on‑call rotation supports 24/7 service needs. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of HVAC and general maintenance experience, an EPA Universal Refrigeration License, a valid driver's license, and

• Requires HS diploma or equivalent and HVAC training.
• Minimum 5 years HVAC and general maintenance experience.
• EPA Universal Refrigeration License required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on standard commercial HVAC systems, including inspection, cleaning, and minor repairs.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control issues in HVAC equipment.
• Conduct repairs on steam/hot water boilers and airflow/ducting systems.
• Safely handle refrigerants in compliance with EPA standards.
• Complete service and asset inspections; document work via digital tools.
• Assist with minor plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical tasks as needed.
• Provide accurate estimates for additional projects; communicate with clients and internal teams.
• Maintain safety regulations and complete required training and safety meetings.

Position Description:

Join a reputable team as an HVAC Technician supporting commercial properties in Woodbridge, NJ. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment providing preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance for HVAC systems. You will utilize multiple trade skills including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC to ensure optimal system performance. Travel to customer sites with provided tools and company vehicle, maintaining strong relationships with clients and team members. The role includes an on‑call rotation to support 24/7 service needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough preventative maintenance on standard commercial HVAC systems, including inspection, cleaning, and minor repairs.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control issues in HVAC equipment.
• Conduct repairs on steam/hot water boilers and airflow/ducting systems.
• Safely handle refrigerants in compliance with EPA standards.
