Job summary

Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort and Villas is seeking an Engineer Technician III to maintain guest rooms, meeting spaces, front-of-house areas, and back-of-house systems. The role emphasizes preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and keeping operations running at the highest standards in a luxurious California setting.

Position pays $22.00-$24.00 hourly with full-time Hyatt benefits and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal preferred) required.
Minimum of 5 years of building maintenance experience
Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing)
Experience with life-safety systems
Ability to troubleshoot and repair systems in guest rooms, meeting spaces, and back-of-house areas
Proficiency with Windows-based computer systems for maintenance tracking
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics (preferred)

Responsibilities

Shift coverage across various maintenance areas, requiring a keen eye for detail and quick troubleshooting abilities
Performing preventative maintenance on major equipment and systems, ensuring the longevity and efficiency of all resort facilities
Utilizing Windows-based systems to manage and track maintenance activities
Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics to aid in system repairs and improvements
Maintaining and troubleshooting life-safety systems, guaranteeing guest and team member safety at all times
