Job summary

Carowinds is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to maintain and install HVAC systems throughout the park. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and service air conditioning and heating systems, with duties including ductwork, coils, and related controls.

Strong safety practices and documentation are expected. The role requires 2–4 years of HVAC experience, a valid Gas Fitter 1 license where applicable, and CFC recovery certification.

Qualifications

• Typical HVAC experience of 2–4 years.
• Refrigeration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, adjusts, maintains, retrofits, and troubleshoots HVAC systems and related equipment.
• Maintains records and logs of all work performed.
• Ensures safe operation of work areas and projects.
• Interacts with supervisors, staff, guests, vendors and inspectors.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
