Job summary

Carowinds in North Carolina is seeking a full-time HVAC Technician Level II to maintain and repair complex cooling and heating systems across the park. You will diagnose issues, install components, and ensure safe operation while keeping detailed service logs.

This role requires night/weekend availability and adherence to Six Flags safety guidelines. Qualifications include 2–4 years of HVAC experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and relevant licenses/certifications where required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Gas Fitter 1 license and CFC recovery certification required where applicable.
• 2–4 years HVAC experience preferred; refrigeration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, maintains, retrofits, and troubleshoots HVAC systems and related equipment throughout the park.
• Maintains accurate records and logs of all work performed.
• Makes recommendations for improvements and reports findings to supervisor.
• Ensures safe operation and compliance with EPA and AQMD rules.
