University of North Carolina Charlotte seeks an HVAC Technician 2 to maintain and repair campus HVAC and refrigeration systems. This full-time role requires strong mechanical trade skills, ability to read blueprints, and good problem-solving in a busy Facilities Management shop.

The position offers a 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings or weekends. Safety-conscious, reliable teamwork, and basic BAS experience preferred.

Formación

• Required high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration equipment; ensure systems run smoothly and buildings are well-maintained.
• Troubleshoot using electrical test devices.
• Diagnose mechanical problems via blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs.
• Use hand and power tools, measuring instruments, and electrical testers.
• Utilize Building Automation Systems (BAS) to complete tasks.
• Look up and order parts.
