Job summary

Daikin Applied is hiring a full-time HVAC Service Technician I to service commercial and industrial equipment across the DC/MD/VA region. You will receive comprehensive training and work with rooftop units, chillers, boilers, and air handling systems. Growth opportunities and a focus on safety are emphasized.

The role requires reporting on job progress, maintaining equipment, and communicating clearly with customers during calls.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate’s degree or HVAC certificate preferred.
• EPA approved Universal Technician Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist and perform maintenance of commercial HVAC equipment including logging machines, cleaning coils, brushing tubes, replacing filters, replacing belts, and proper lubrication.
• Assist in the repair and replacement of defective equipment, components, or wiring related to HVAC systems.
• Maintain and inspect equipment to prevent breakdowns and callbacks.
• Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, and other reports in a timely manner.
• Interact with customers by offering status reports and explaining technical information.
