Job summary

Arizona State University in Tempe is seeking HVAC Technicians I and II to perform preventive maintenance, diagnose, repair and operate heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems across campus facilities.

The roles require a High School Diploma and HVAC knowledge, with on-call duties and safety procedures. You will work on Chillers, boilers, air handlers and controls, with opportunities to advance under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 2 years HVAC experience or equivalent.
• Certified trades worker in HVAC installation/repair.
• Ability to work at Tempe campus and other ASU locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose equipment and repair HVAC components.
• Interpret HVAC schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Maintain service logs and reports; participate in on-call rotation.
