Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic HVAC knowledge: air handlers, VAVs, exhaust systems, DX units.
• Competency with hand tools and basic diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to work safely with refrigerants and tools.
• 0-2 years HVAC or facilities experience.
• Must obtain CFC certification within 6 months.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and controls (II).
• Ability to read and interpret complex schematics and as-builts (II).
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and using digital instrumentation (II).
• Familiarity with chilled water systems, DX equipment, and airflow mechanics (II).
• EPA Universal CFC Certification (II).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks for HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Perform equipment diagnostics and repairs.
• Interpret HVAC schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Document work performed and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Support on-call duties and emergency response.
• Work under the guidance of senior staff.
