Job summary

Service Experts is seeking a Service Technician II in Tempe, AZ to perform residential and light commercial service on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will diagnose issues, complete preventive maintenance, and communicate updates to dispatch while delivering excellent customer service.

Requirements include a High School Diploma/GED, 2+ years in HVAC, EPA certifications, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with additional training and 2+ years’ experience in HVAC with technical training certification required.
EPA and safety certifications required.
Must possess all valid licensing or certification as required by regulations for the geographical work area.

Responsibilities

Perform residential and/or light commercial service and maintenance calls under general supervision.
Analyze, diagnose, and resolve customer problems in a courteous, timely, and accurate manner.
Diagnose and service HVACR equipment and related accessories.
Inspect equipment and perform diagnostics to prevent breakdowns or callbacks.
Maintain neat, timely, and accurate paperwork and collect payments.
Communicate with dispatch to provide status updates.
Promote products and services and relay sales leads to the appropriate team.
Ensure company property and tools are maintained and accounted for.
