Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning is hiring an HVAC technician for residential and light commercial service at the Overland Park area. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain heating and cooling systems, communicating clearly with customers to ensure satisfaction.

You will work under supervision, use hand tools and diagnostic equipment, adhere to safety standards, and participate in our training programs while pursuing ongoing certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with HVAC training and 0–2+ years' experience.
• Must hold EPA certification and any required state licensing.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical/refrigeration systems.
• Flexibility to work variable hours and on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential or light commercial service and maintenance calls.
• Diagnose, repair, and service HVAC equipment and accessories.
• Inspect and diagnose to prevent breakdowns and callbacks.
• Deliver excellent customer service and communicate with dispatch.
• Handle parts delivery, paperwork, and payment collection as needed.
• Maintain proper vehicle, tools, and safety standards.
