Georgia College & State University (GCSU) seeks a skilled HVAC Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on campus HVAC systems. You will conduct preventative maintenance and diagnostics while collaborating with facilities staff to ensure reliable climate control across campus buildings.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, EPA Universal CFC certificate, and at least 3 years of HVAC experience; preferred are technical HVAC training or an associate degree and multiple years of

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
EPA Universal CFC certificate required.
3 years of HVAC-related experience required.
Technical school diploma in HVAC or Associate degree preferred.
Two or more years installing and maintaining commercial HVAC systems preferred.

Responsabilités

Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment, including replacing filters, belts, and other consumables.
Install, repair, replace, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and plumbing components used in HVAC.
Troubleshoot pneumatic, electrical, and digital controls.
Monitor inventory and maintain shop areas and tools; perform other duties as required.
