Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3 years of comparable experience considered in lieu.
• EPA Refrigerant Certification required or can be obtained during probation.
• Valid Georgia Driver License required.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable HVAC experience in light commercial or better.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment (lubricating, cleaning coils, changing filters).
• Maintain and repair freezers, refrigerators, air conditioners, heat pumps, and boilers; assist with control, electrical, and plumbing work.
• Interpret schematics, drawings, layouts to locate and diagnose trouble.
• Assist engineers and coordinate with Utilities Services for efficiency improvements.
• Purchase necessary parts for repairs and work with other trades as needed.
