Team Sunshine Construction is hiring an HVAC Technician to install, service, and repair residential and light commercial systems across New England. Focus areas include ductless mini-splits, ducted heat pumps, and air handlers. You’ll work independently or lead small crews, troubleshoot issues, and ensure Mass Save standards are met for rebates.

Mass Save and solar integration experience is a plus. EPA 608 certification and a valid MA refrigeration license support eligibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on HVAC experience, with heat pump/mini-split installation preferred.
• EPA Section 608 Certification is required.
• Mass Save installations experience is a plus.
• Massachusetts refrigeration technician license or other state license is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Install, service, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems (mini-splits, ducted heat pumps, air handlers).
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant issues and perform refrigerant charging per EPA regs.
• Complete installations to Mass Save requirements with proper documentation and photos for rebates.
• Read blueprints and wiring diagrams; interpret load calculations and manufacturer specs.
• Commission systems and guide customers on operation and maintenance.
• Mentor apprentices and helpers on job sites.
