Job summary

EcoSave Home Solutions, based in North Chelmsford, MA, seeks an experienced HVAC Installer for residential heat pumps, mini-splits, air handlers, and ductwork installations across Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire.

Requires at least 2 years of residential HVAC installation experience, EPA 608 Type II or Universal certification, and a valid driver's license. Travel to project sites and a strong commitment to safety and customer care are essential.

Responsibilities

• Install heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, air handlers, and related ductwork per plans and specs.
• Perform refrigerant line set installation, pressure testing, evacuation, charging and commissioning.
• Identify installation issues and coordinate with crew and other trades.
• Maintain a clean, safe job site and document work with photos/startup readings.
• Explain basic system operation to homeowners and ensure a professional installation.

The opportunity

EcoSave Home Solutions is hiring an experienced HVAC Installer for residential heat pump, mini-split, air handler, and ductwork installations. We're based in North Chelmsford and work throughout Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire.We're looking for someone who takes pride in a clean installation, understands why proper testing and commissioning matter, and treats customers' homes with care. What you’ll do

• Install heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, air handlers, and associated ductwork to project plans and manufacturer specifications.
• Install refrigerant line sets and condensate drainage, and complete pressure testing, evacuation, charging, and commissioning within your qualifications.
• Identify installation issues, communicate material needs, and coordinate with the crew and other trades.
• Protect customers' homes, maintain a clean and safe job site, and document completed work with photos and startup readings.
• Explain basic system operation to homeowners and help deliver a complete, professional installation.

What you bring

• At least two years of residential HVAC installation experience.
• EPA Section 608 Type II or Universal certification.
• Hands-on experience with heat pumps or ductless mini-splits.
• A valid driver's license and ability to travel to projects across our service area.
• Reliable attendance, practical troubleshooting skills, and clear communication.
• Ability to perform essential field duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds, using ladders, and working in attics and crawlspaces, with or without reasonable accommodation.
