Job summary
Dilling Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical in Charlotte, NC, is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Technician to inspect, maintain, and repair residential systems. You will test performance with specialized tools, perform routine maintenance, and identify energy-efficient upgrades while keeping precise service records.
The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of residential HVAC experience, solid safety knowledge, and strong customer service skills.
Qualifications
- 1 year of residential HVAC service experience minimum.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC codes and safety procedures.
- Experience managing a fleet vehicle and product inventory.
- Sales and customer service experience required.
- Must pass motor vehicle & background check and drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and troubleshoot HVAC systems to identify issues and determine necessary repairs
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed
- Test HVAC system performance and efficiency using specialized tools and equipment
- Install, repair, or replace defective parts or components of HVAC systems
- Identify and recommend upgrades or improvements to enhance system performance and energy efficiency
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed on HVAC systems
- Comply with all safety regulations and guidelines while working on HVAC systems
