UMass Memorial Health is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Technician in Worcester, MA. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems across hospital facilities, with 7:00 am–3:30 pm day shift on a 40-hour week.

Qualifications include 1–3 years of HVAC experience and EPA CFC Recovery Certification within 6 months. On-call duties may be required; full-time Non-Exempt status applies.

Qualifications

• EPA CFC Recovery Certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the above requirements.
• 1-3 years of HVAC experience preferred.
• Ability to repair and troubleshoot variable air volume terminal bases.
• Knowledge of pneumatic temperature controls and basic computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Installs, maintains, and repairs HVAC equipment including hot water and chilled water systems.
• Repairs steam pipes, steam regulators, and steam traps; maintains boilers and controls.
• Maintains logs, documents work, and orders supplies.
• Keeps work area clean and safe; adheres to safety standards.
• Responds to calls and may assume on-call responsibilities.
