Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a full-time HVAC Pre-Apprentice in Maple Grove, MN, onsite. You will assist in diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC systems under Journeyman supervision. Training pathways and certifications are available as part of onboarding.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and an HVAC certificate from a technical school, plus a valid driver's license. Visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical school with HVAC certificate or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Local law requires licenses/training; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment and perform preventative maintenance.
• Support servicing of rooftop units, water-source heat pumps, and air handling units.
• Assist in rebuilding units and manage basic data entry, billing, and time records.
• Communicate with customers and report service status before, during, and after visits.
• Participate in on-the-job and online training to expand skills and certifications.
