Job summary

MCSgo is seeking a JR HVAC Technician to assist in installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems under a senior technician's supervision. This role offers hands-on experience and growth within the HVAC industry in Chicago and Lansing, IL.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic HVAC knowledge, and willingness to continue education. EPA 608 certification is a plus; driving may be required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with maintenance, repairs and replacement in HVAC.
• Experience with HVAC, Refrigeration and Low temp.
• Boiler systems knowledge preferred.
• EPA 608 Certification preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and equipment.
• Assist inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems.
• Perform routine maintenance like filter changes and system cleaning.
• Respond to emergency repairs promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
• Assist customers with queries.
