Job summary

CoolSys invites applications for an Apprentice (HVAC or Refrigeration) to support installation teams, perform piping and equipment installations, and follow safety and quality standards. You will work under senior technicians across HVAC and refrigeration projects, gaining hands-on experience and training.

The role emphasizes working safely on-site, reading blueprints, and communicating clearly with team members, with opportunities for growth and paid training in a large, diverse company.

Qualifications

• Education or experience equivalent to a High school diploma, GED, or completion from a trade program or technical school.
• 1+ year of experience in construction, refrigeration, HVAC, or related industry/trade preferred.
• Ability to operate a scissor lift or forklift preferred.
• Knowledge of job site safety and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Install equipment per project requirements under the direction of a senior technician.
• Follow customer specifications, codes, and proper piping practices (PVC, copper, brazing).
• Perform tasks safely, use tools and PPE, and maintain clean job sites.
• Escalate safety or quality concerns to on-site leads promptly.
• Provide assistance to senior technicians and follow company policies.
