TREK Development Group in Pittsburgh is seeking an HVAC Technician to own the preventive maintenance program across the portfolio. The role performs PM tasks directly, builds the schedule, and ensures documentation at every property.
Duties include diagnosing and repairing furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and VRF/water-source systems; training site staff; and coordinating third‑party vendors when needed. Requirements: 3+ years HVAC experience and EPA 608 certification.

This role keeps HVAC and mechanical systems running reliably, performs preventive maintenance and repairs directly, and serves as the first point of technical response when site maintenance teams can't resolve an HVAC or mechanical issue. The HVAC Technician also owns the HVAC and mechanical preventive maintenance program portfolio-wide building the PM schedule and confirming it is completed and documented at every property, and trains site maintenance technicians on HVAC and mechanical systems so issues get resolved at the source whenever possible. Where a repair falls outside personal capability, certification, or licensing, the HVAC Technician engages and manages a third-party vendor directly through to resolution. This role reports to the Facilities Manager and is scoped entirely to HVAC and mechanical ownership and execution it does not include general facilities maintenance, property standards administration, or capital project management.
