VPG Management is seeking an experienced maintenance technician with HVAC expertise to maintain multi-family properties. You will perform plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs, inspect systems, read blueprints, and conduct preventive maintenance. The role requires OSHA knowledge, own vehicle, and the ability to travel between sites.

The position is full-time with benefits and on-site work across properties. HVAC certification is required, and prior property management exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC certification mandatory; prior property management experience preferred.
• Must read blueprints and repair manuals and use standard trade tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC repairs to facility systems.
• Inspect equipment and suggest optimal repair solutions from blueprints.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to keep systems operating correctly.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and respond to tenant maintenance requests.
• Install appliances and report issues to the Property Manager.
• Travel between properties with own vehicle when needed.
• Adhere to OSHA safety standards and follow instructions.

VPG Management is seeking an experienced, agile, trustworthy maintenance/repair technician with HVAC expertise to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will perform general repairs to multi‑family properties.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Performs general plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) repairs to the facility's equipment and systems.
• Inspects equipment and systems to identify problems or issues.
• Consult blueprints or building plans to identify the best solution for systems or equipment issues.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure that plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems operate correctly.
• Performs general cleaning tasks in the facility.
• Maintains inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.
• Response to tenant reports of maintenance issues on their premises.
• Performs fixes such as repairing broken locks, filing gaps on walls, sheetrock, property interior and exterior, etc.
• Install appliances and equipment.
• Reports to Property Manager for issues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Thorough knowledge of general plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repair.
• Ability to read blueprints, building plans, and repair manuals.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Ability to take apart machines to replace defective parts.
• Ability to prioritize workloads critical to operation.
• Familiarity with Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) standards.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Must have own vehicle to travel between properties.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in property management preferred.
• HVAC Certification required.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Must be able to climb ladders, bend, and crawl into awkward spaces.
• Must be able to lift fifty pounds at a time.
