Job summary

TREK Development Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Grandview Pointe, a 54-unit property. You will perform inspections, basic repairs, and preventive maintenance to sustain a high-quality living environment.

Responsibilities include addressing vacant-apartment repairs, on-call emergencies, HVAC/plumbing/electrical tasks, and exterior upkeep. A high school diploma and 2+ years in multi-site maintenance are expected; a valid driver’s license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required; trade certifications preferred.
• Minimum of two years multi-site, multi-family operational maintenance experience.
• Minimum of two years hands-on experience in one or more trades (HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, electrical).
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Background check and child-abuse clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and perform repairs to vacant apartments for new residents.
• Respond to service requests and on-call emergencies promptly.
• Diagnose, repair, or replace HVAC components, plumbing, electrical, and structural items.
• Perform painting, carpentry, and drywall repairs per RRP protocol as needed.
• Maintain exterior of property to ensure curb appeal and grounds upkeep.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner per company procedures.
• Provide preventative maintenance for building systems and components.
• Be aware of utility and sewer cut-offs and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Weekend work, on-call rotation, and emergency service duties as required.

Position Summary

Maintenance Technician – Grandview Pointe, a 54‑unit property. The role includes performing inspections, basic repairs, and preventive maintenance to ensure a high‑quality, community‑focused living environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and perform all necessary repairs to vacant apartments for new residents.
• Respond to all service requests and on‑call emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
• Diagnose, repair, or replace HVAC components, windows, latches, screens, and a wide range of fixtures including plumbing, electrical, and structural items.
• Perform painting, carpentry, and drywall repairs following RRP protocol as needed.
• Assist in maintaining the exterior of the property to provide curb appeal and upkeep of grounds, including snow removal.
• Complete work order requests in a timely manner and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Provide preventative maintenance for all building systems, equipment, and components.
• Be aware of all utility meter cut‑offs, apartment and fixture cut‑offs, and sewer cleanouts.
• Be available for weekend work, on‑call rotation, and emergency service call duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; trade school and/or industry‑trade certifications or degrees (NAHMS, CAMT, OSHA, HVAC) preferred.
• Minimum of two years of multi‑site, multi‑family operational management experience – preferably across a mix of residential property types or comparable roles in hotel, resort, or retail management.
• Minimum of two years of advanced hands‑on experience in one or more trades (plumbing, HVAC, boiler, carpentry, appliance, or electrical repairs).
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Child‑abuse clearance and background check required.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This position is very active, with occasional lifting and/or moving of items up to 80 pounds. The role involves frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. Occasional outside weather exposure may occur. This job may include evening, weekend, and holiday hours to support emergency repairs.
