Job summary

Total Talent Solutions is hiring an HVAC Technician for a direct-hire role in Minneapolis, MN. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 8 AM–4 PM, with occasional evenings or Saturdays and requires a strong HVAC/commercial maintenance background.

Requirements include 5+ years in HVAC and commercial maintenance, EPA Universal Certification, and a valid driver's license. Expect hands-on duties, repairs, and coordination with clients on-site with travel between properties.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC and commercial maintenance experience required.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Experience with HVAC troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and mechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and building maintenance practices.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in various indoor and outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on commercial HVAC systems, including package and split units.
• Diagnose and repair compressors, motors, boilers, electrical components, airflow issues, and refrigerant systems.
• Complete minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and facility maintenance tasks.
• Read work orders, document service activity, and complete reports using tablets and mobile technology.
• Ensure compliance with EPA, OSHA, and company safety standards.
• Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams while maintaining high service levels.
• Travel locally between commercial properties throughout the workday.
