Midwest Mechanical Solutions is seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Technician to maintain and develop existing customer relationships through quality service and support in Minneapolis, MN. On-site start-up, system troubleshooting, and coordination with installers, owners, and manufacturers are key duties, with opportunities for a lucrative sign-on bonus for highly qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in HVAC related field or 3 years equivalent experience.
• Self-starter with initiative and proactive behavior.
• Commitment to customer service (internal and external).
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines without supervision.
• Interact professionally with employees, customers, and manufacturers.
• Ability to operate under pressure and on active job sites.
• Proven technical aptitude and familiarity with voltmeters.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must demonstrate MMS Core Values.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Position will travel to customer sites.
• Majority of work on rooftop unit.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• On-site start-up technician
• Troubleshoot installation of control systems
• Solving issues using reasoning, logic, and voltmeter
• Communication with individuals who installed the system
• Communication with manufacturers
• Assist the owner’s representative to demonstrate that the system has been set up properly
• Documentation of actions taken on the job site to be included with project report
• Direct discussions with building owners to assist with ongoing maintenance and service
• Perform work on preventive maintenance agreements as assigned

Job Description
