Job summary

Fortis Native Group LLC is seeking an HVAC Technician for an on-site position in Midland, TX. You will report to the Program Manager and work onsite to maintain HVAC and related systems, coordinate with vendors, and manage scheduling and documentation.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2+ years of building-operations experience, plus EPA/HVAC certifications and MS Office skills. On-site work with comprehensive benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years’ experience in Operations & Maintenance of building systems including HVAC and related equipment.
• Knowledge of contractual requirements and scheduling.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and stay organized.
• Familiar with RS Means and proficient in MS Office.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create schedules and manage timekeeping and admin duties.
• Maintain, repair and ensure HVAC, water treatment, and generator systems are in proper working order.
• Order replacement items and coordinate with vendors for repairs.
• Submit receipts weekly to corporate office.
• Create estimates and generate reports as required.
• Maintain records and respond to client concerns with onsite inspections.

The HVAC Technician in Midland, TX. The technician will report to the Program Manager. This position is on-site.

Job Duties

• Utilizes Tsheets timekeeping daily, logging in and out for lunch.
• Creation of schedules.
• Maintains, repairs and ensures all equipment is in proper working condition including HVAC systems, water treatment systems and emergency generator systems and various other mechanical systems.
• Orders replacement items through purchasing, and works with vendors regarding repairs to existing equipment.
• Submits receipts on a weekly basis to the corporate office for processing.
• Perform any additional duties on an "as required" basis where such duties are within the scope of contractual responsibilities.
• Issue reports and summaries as required.
• Maintain appropriate records and statistics for administrative and regulatory purposes.
• Resolves clients' concerns, conducts follow-up calls and makes onsite visit inspections for satisfactory job performance.
• Create estimates as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• The HVAC Technician will have 2+ years’ experience in the Operations & Maintenance of building operational systems including HVAC, Fire Suppression Systems, Environmental (to include Oil Water Separator Servicing) and Water Treatment procedures.
• Knowledge of contractual requirements and creation of schedules.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and maintain organization.
• Familiar with RS Means.
• The HVAC Technician will be proficient with MS Office computer programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project), possess outstanding written and oral communication skills.

Pay Range $27.35 per hour

$5.09 per hour Health and Welfare up to 40 hours per week (These monies are used for your benefits)
