Job summary

Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling of Bloomington is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to provide in-home service across Monroe County, operating from Bloomington, IN. You will diagnose, service, and repair residential heating and cooling systems while communicating clearly with homeowners and delivering trusted, professional recommendations.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with 8:00 AM–5:00 PM hours (varying), company-paid training, a take-home vehicle, and comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential in-home HVAC service experience.
• EPA Certification is required.
• Strong HVAC troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Professional communication with customers and ability to explain technical information clearly.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to learn and effectively use ServiceTitan.
• Follow safe work practices and maintain high attention to detail.
• Dependability and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide residential HVAC service across Monroe County and surrounding counties from Bloomington, IN.
• Diagnose, maintain, service, and repair residential heating and cooling systems.
• Troubleshoot furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, thermostats, and related equipment.
• Present homeowners with honest, professional recommendations and options.
• Record accurate service data in ServiceTitan and maintain organized worksite.
• Deliver professional customer service and build homeowner trust on every call.
• Operate take-home company vehicle and adhere to safety standards.
• Engage in ongoing company-paid technical training to strengthen HVAC knowledge.
