Job summary
Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling of Bloomington is seeking a residential plumbers maintenance technician based out of Bloomington, IN. You will perform preventive inspections, diagnose issues, and conduct routine maintenance to keep homes’ plumbing systems reliable.
You will explain findings to homeowners, document work in ServiceTitan, and maintain a clean, organized work vehicle while following safety standards. Growth and training opportunities are available.
Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of residential in-home plumbing maintenance experience.
- Willingness to attend plumbing school to obtain a plumbing license
- Basic knowledge of residential plumbing systems and preventative maintenance
- Strong customer communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to learn and effectively use ServiceTitan
- Team-oriented with a positive, adaptable attitude
- Comfortable performing the physical requirements of the position
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Honest, dependable, and committed to delivering quality workmanship
- Authorized to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Perform residential plumbing maintenance and preventative inspections throughout Monroe County and the surrounding counties, based out of Bloomington, Indiana
- Inspect residential plumbing systems to identify maintenance needs and potential issues before they become major repairs
- Perform routine plumbing maintenance and minor repairs to help homeowners maintain reliable plumbing systems
- Clearly explain maintenance findings and recommended solutions to homeowners
- Build lasting customer relationships through honest communication and exceptional service
- Complete accurate job documentation using ServiceTitan
- Operate a take-home company vehicle while maintaining a clean, organized work environment
- Follow company safety standards while delivering high-quality workmanship
- Participate in ongoing company-paid training while working toward obtaining your plumbing license

Up to $26 per hour based on experience and performance
Commission and spiff opportunities with top performers earning $40,000+ annually
Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (hours may vary)
