Gemaire, a division of Watsco, seeks an HVAC technical support specialist in the Baton Rouge area to provide remote and on-site service for installation and troubleshooting. The role involves guiding customers on best practices, delivering technical trainings, and collaborating with sales teams to drive customer satisfaction.

You will work with manufacturers and internal teams, handling warranty issues and field service visits while maintaining detailed records and reports.

Qualifications

• HVAC technical service skills typical of minimum 5 years direct industry experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literate, proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Some overnight travel required.
• Valid motor vehicle driver license and reliable transportation with clean driving record for the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support via Salesforce CRM (phone, chat, email).
• Provide on-site technical support for installation and service issues.
• Educate customers on proper installation methods and best practices.
• May teach technical training classes as directed by the syllabus and guidelines.
• Support sales by joint calls and presenting at events.
