Job summary

Johnstone Supply, The Balsan Group is seeking an HVAC-savvy professional to join our team. You will train customers and staff, build strong customer relationships, and provide technical support across multiple sites.

Role includes on-site start-up assistance, collaboration with vendors, and assisting sales teams with quotes and orders. Expect travel and ongoing learning of HVAC tech and energy programs.

Qualifications

• HVAC associates or undergraduate degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of technical field experience in HVAC distribution or manufacturing.
• Relationship-building skills.
• Ability to navigate and learn new computer programs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales and marketing to provide technical training for customers and staff.
• Develop customer relationships by fielding calls and providing technical support.
• Provide on-site equipment start-up assistance.
• Work with vendors to answer customer technical needs.
• Uncover and communicate sales leads to outside sales staff and management.
• Support inside sales with technical quotes and orders.
• Assist area managers with needs in other areas.
• Recommend sales promotions, equipment and parts to customers.
• Traveling required.
• Continuously learn new HVAC technology and government energy programs and share with others.
