Job summary

Johnstone Supply, North America's leading HVACR distributor, seeks a dynamic trainer to drive contractor training, market activation, and program growth across stores and events. The role emphasizes leadership in training design, content development, and cross-functional collaboration with marketing, sales, and product teams.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HVAC, contractor programs, and learning platforms, with strong communication and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five or more years of experience in HVAC, contractor development, training, learning programs, distribution, or related fields.
• Experience developing marketing campaigns, training resources, content, communications, and customer engagement programs.

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption in stores with activation plans and partnerships.
• Evaluate training program effectiveness and outcomes via surveys and metrics.
• Build a community of partners, suppliers, store leadership and contractors.
• Travel to stores and events for in-person training and promotions.
• Position new courses and provide training materials for store use.
• Track sales and promotions using scorecards and dashboards.
• Develop customized training tracks for contractors and coordinate with eLearning.
