Job summary

Medxcel is hiring for a Facilities Maintenance role at St. John- Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, OK. The position covers heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration, and ice-making systems within the hospital facilities department.

You will handle after-hours emergencies, coordinate with teams on work orders, and ensure compliance with safety and building regulations, dedicating time to training and special projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of related experience.
  • EPA License (Level I) required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent or trade school graduate.

Responsibilities

  • Installs, inspects, maintains, and repairs all heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration, and ice-making systems.
  • Applies specialized knowledge of steam distribution, piping, valves, water reheat systems, and energy management systems.
  • Responds to after-hours emergencies, manages power outage procedures, and follows safety protocols using PPE.
  • Coordinates with personnel regarding work orders, ensures compliance with building and safety regulations, and keeps tools and vehicles in safe condition.
  • Dedicates 20% of the role to meetings, training, and special projects.

Qualifications
Must have one or more of the following:
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of trade school.
  • EPA License (Level I)
Work Experience
  • 2 years of related experience.
  • Other equivalent combination of relevant education or experience.
