Job summary

ColonialWebb is seeking an HVAC Team Lead for our Service Team in Chantilly to mentor technicians and drive service excellence. You will oversee rooftop HVAC systems, heat pumps, and related controls, while cultivating strong customer relationships and ensuring safe, code-compliant operation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, equivalent from two-year college or technical school with an HVAC certificate, or graduate of a sponsored apprenticeship program, or 5 years of direct HVAC experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence clearly and accurately.
• Knowledge of Building Codes, ASHRAE standards and OSHA safety regulations.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose causes of equipment breakdowns and test parts with appropriate instruments.
• Disassemble and assemble parts and perform necessary repairs on rooftop HVAC units and related components.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned HVAC Technicians.
• Develop estimates to grow our business in the Chantilly region.
• Cultivate relationships with current customers and qualify service needs; focus on coaching and development of the team.
