University of Missouri-Columbia Energy Management is seeking a TAB Technician I to perform entry-level TAB work on HVAC systems across campus. You will assist with collecting equipment data, entering data into TAB forms, and inspecting installations for compliance while calibrating devices and maintaining safety standards.

The role supports the team in building automation and energy efficiency, with 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM shifts Monday through Friday and a path to higher TAB Technician levels as you

Qualifications

• Must pass a written test and skills assessment related to TAB work.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, schematics and drawings.
• Follow safety procedures and work safely.
• Assist with collecting HVAC equipment nameplate data and data entry.
• Ability to work with TAB equipment and adjust dampers, valves, and motor speeds.

Responsabilités

• Assist with collecting HVAC equipment nameplate data.
• Assist with entering data into TAB forms.
• Assist with inspection of building construction to ensure proper TAB readiness.
• Notify supervisor of any unresolved deficiencies.
• Assist with air and water measurements, calibration of devices, and adjusting dampers/valves.
• Follow safety and maintenance policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Work toward completing Skills Category training for TAB Technician II.
