Job summary
Engineered Air Balance (EAB) seeks skilled technicians to perform comprehensive Testing, Adjusting & Balancing (TAB) and validation of HVAC systems on diverse projects. You will work with experienced project leaders to develop advanced technical capabilities in HVAC controls verification, commissioning support, and critical environment testing.
The role is designed for individuals ready to expand technical capabilities while developing leadership skills for future advancement into Project
Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience performing TAB activities or related field services.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform testing, adjusting, balancing, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems.
- Review drawings, specifications, and manufacturer submittals.
- Verify BAS points and sensor calibration.
- Conduct control sequence verification.
- Maintain field documentation and reports.
- Assist with Pre-TAB and Opposite Season observations.
- Communicate with contractors, engineers, owners, and stakeholders.
- Continue development through the EAB Training Program.
