Job summary

Town of Flower Mound is seeking an HVAC Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair building systems under general supervision. You will follow specifications to install, service, and repair HVAC equipment, test performance, and ensure proper operation of controls and components.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, reading blueprints, wiring, testing, repairing plumbing and carpentry aspects, and compliance with EPA regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Trade school or HVAC training preferred.
• Valid Texas driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic and preventive maintenance, testing, and calibration on HVAC units and monitoring systems.
• Install, service, and repair HVAC systems; connect wiring and controls; verify proper operation.
• Repair plumbing and carpentry tasks, minor electrical work, and general repairs.
• Maintain energy management programs and ensure EPA compliance.
• Respond to service requests and advise on safety hazards.
