CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Engineer to maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for complex commercial HVAC systems, performing preventive maintenance and scheduled testing.

You will lead by example, assign tasks, and troubleshoot to ensure compliance with codes and CBRE standards; the role requires 4–5 years of related experience and a high school diploma. This position is based in Phoenix, AZ, within CBRE's Engineering and Technical Services function.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
  • In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assign tasks to team members.
  • Install, repair, adjust, service and maintain HVAC control systems and related instruments.
  • Inspect and maintain HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with codes.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine best modification approaches.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge to complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
  • Coach teammates and share knowledge across related disciplines.
  • Lead by example and support CBRE RISE values.
  • Build consensus across teams to reach decisions.
  • Explain difficult information clearly.
